Well gents, football season is upon us, and with it the gameday tradition of food and beer till you pass out. Yes tailgating is here again and to help you do it right, we’ve put together a list of our top 36 tailgating gadgets and gear picks. Don’t leave the house unless you’ve got at least some of these in your inventory.
36. Gate Mate Tailgate Party Tool Box
Packing all of your grilling items, your protein, paper plates and condiment bottles can be a headache unless you have somewhere that will keep it all together without mixing things up. Enter the Gate Mate Tailgate Party Tool Box. In the foreground you can see everything this monster is capable of holding. In the background is the product itself. Deep, wide, and perfectly compartmentalized, order it online for just $130.
Do you have to get a beer can from the cooler to your dehydrated friend, but feel too lazy to walk it over to him? If so, just crack open the original BeverageBall, put the can inside and toss him a pass. It’s a fun way of delivering the brews, and couldn’t be more fitting for this time of year. Get it via Kickstarter for around $25.
34. KuploK Plate
From inventors Michael and Steve Dawson comes this tailgating necessity. The KuploK Plate (Cup+Lock) is a plate with a cup holder on the bottom. It makes eating, drinking, and socializing a breeze, and still leaves a hand open for high-fives. Get a package of 20 for just $24 through Kickstarter.
33. Jeaux-Racha Sriracha BBQ Sauce
If you don’t want to work Jeaux-Racha BBQ sauce into your marinade, then there is something wrong with you. Jeaux-Racha has all the great flavor and sweetness of the company’s original Cajun Tailgate BBQ Sauce, but in addition to that, it’s blended with the peppery heat of Sriracha. Currently available via a Kickstarter campaign for $25 (domestic shipping included), you can find it normally through the company website.
It may be a football game, but why should that mean you have to dress down? With the BeerTie, you can look your sophisticated best with the one sudsy addition of your favorite brew dangling from around your neck. The makers of BeerTie recently completed a successful round of Kickstarter funding. You can pre-order now for $28.
No afternoon of tailgating is complete without your tunes, but in order to crank those out, you’re going to need a music player that isn’t too energy demanding — after all, who’s to say you’ll have access to outlets — but one that can cut corners without cutting quality. The ZingBox, successfully funded on Kickstarter in November 2013, continues to make waves around the Internet with its throwback look and its solar-powered functionality. Outside of buying it third-party, we’re not sure on how to get one, but you can contact the designer via his website for more information.
30. Toasty Tote
Worried about tailgating when the weather turns cooler? Don’t be. With the Toasty Tote, you get a chair carrier, a seat cushion, a picnic blanket, a poncho, and a toasty body warmer all in one. 29. Tailgate Folding Wooden Picnic Table

You need a place to sit. And while there are many options, why not bring along the Tailgate Folding Wooden Table? It’s lightweight, comfortable, and features plenty of room for you and some friends, with each seat able to withstand a 240-pound person. Get it shipped to your door from the Amazonians for just $203.

The Backpack Cooler Chair is one impressive piece of tailgating equipment. With this incredible 13-pound chair, you can store everything you need for a great day out at your favorite sporting event. According to Hammacher, the chair folds to a mere 10 inches wide, and has two shoulder straps for comfortably carrying the unit to a tailgate or the beach.
Furthermore, the cooler bag attaches to the left armrest and has high-density closed cell foam insulation that keeps up to 24 12-oz. cans or 35 lbs. of food cold for several hours. (Surely you and your friends can’t eat more than that in a couple of hours.)
The cooler also has four external pockets for picnic necessities and removes for toting it to a neighboring tailgate. A 14 1/2″ x 11″ side table folds out from the right armrest and has an integrated cup holder and a two-tiered under mounted canvas shelf that provides convenient storage for any necessity you can think of. Last but not least, seat and backrest are crafted from soft-yet-durable canvas with foam-padded ribs and the frame is constructed from lightweight powder-coated aluminum that supports up to 350 lbs. The largest covered container is 10″ x 11″ while the second largest is 6.5″ x 8,” and the third is 5″ x 8.” Numbers two and three have curved designs. Each compartment features a lid, and can be separated from the whole for added convenience. You can pick yours up now via Quirky for just $30.

You can pick up two bags from the website for around $12, or do the more sensible option and get a whole case of them for $78.

24. SpinChill Portable Beer Chiller
The SpinChill Portable Beer Chiller is a perfect companion piece to the company’s ChillBit drill bit. If you haven’t heard of either one, then you could be missing out on one of the coolest tailgating inventions to come along in quite some time. SpinChill was started by two mechanical engineering majors from the University of Florida who just couldn’t seem to find anything that would adequately chill a bottle or can quickly.
Knowing that the act of spinning something continuously in ice for 30 to 60 seconds would do the trick, they first developed the ChillBit to affix to a power drill. Still, who wants to carry their drill with them to a party? Enter the Portable Beer Chiller. Simply connect it to the top of the can or bottle, drop it in the ice, turn it on, and give it a minute. Boom: you’ve gone from warm beer to cold without having to wait. Get it through the company website for $30.

21. Brennwagen GTX 1500 Smoker
The GTX 1500 is perfect for grilling, smoking, and tailgating. With a lever coming up from the bottom, it features easy mobility, but the real story is what this thing can do to a batch of meat. First of all, it smokes meat perfectly between 80 to120° centigrade, ensuring a soft and juicy sensation for even larger shanks. Boasting an integrated thermometer and a fully adjustable flue flap, you can regulate temperature to your exact needs. On the grill side, its height-adjustable grills are just one of many clever and practical details. The official website has full availability details. It also shows ways that you can pimp out the looks, though we think it’s a beauty as-is.
20. EdgeStar Deluxe Mini Kegerator & Draft Beer Dispenser

Designed for use with five liters, the Kegerator is mod-able to any size and boasts both battery and adapter power, electronic temperature controls and a compact size of 15 inches in height that should fit discreetly into almost any dorm roo–um, home of a responsible adult 21 years old and up. Buy yours online using Paypal for just $9.

16. Benny’s Bloody Mary Beef Straws
The Bloody Mary, in theory, has always been a fine drink. Unfortunately, it suffers from that fru-fru addition of the celery straw. But who needs that when you can instead have meat? Benny’s Bloody Mary Beef Straws give you that option. You can buy a five-pack for just $7 or go with the case of 100 meat straws for $126. Ingredients include: beef, water, salt, corn syrup, citric acid, spices, dextrose, garlic, hickory smoke powder, sodium erythorbate, and sodium nitrate. Store it at room temp, and don’t use if it goes more than eight months after the pack date.
15. The Beerbell
Ladies and gentlemen, the Beerbell! This is the perfect koozie for you fitness-minded beer drinkers, who believe it’s possible to get ripped while you’re getting ripped. It keeps your drinks colder, acts as a great drink holder, and even floats in case you plan on doing any swimming. (Swimming at a tailgating party, you ask? Trust us, we’ve seen much stranger things than that.) One Beerbell will cost you about $15, and you can personalize it to your NFL team of choice for an additional $5.
14. Tailgate TV Stand
Technology has made it possible to do some pretty awesome things from a tailgating party these days. If you don’t want to go inside the stadium to watch the game, you don’t even have to. Just connect a TV to this Tailgate TV Stand, and you can watch every down without leaving the comfort of your affordable and much more delicious feast. Seriously, who wants to pay $6 for a hot dog? Not us. Just give us the old flat-screen and a mountain of food, and we’re happy. Order your stand for $170 through this link.

JamCooler brings two of our favorite things together just in time for grilling season. That’s right: beer and music. In fact, as of this writing, Amazon alone has more than a dozen left. This light package lights with one match, uses 100 percent natural charcoal with no chemicals or additives, and cooks that great charcoal taste into the meat without leaving behind a foul residue. Just $8. Perfect for those tailgating experiences where you run out of grill space.
GrillGrates are interlocking panels that fit atop your regular grill to form a new grill surface. All this results in a better looking, better tasting, and finer tasting hunk of meat for just $40.
