Fish Bone Knotless Gear Tie

By Aric Mitchell on February 1, 2013

Developer Brent Garcia has come up with one of the most successful Kickstarter projects a guy could hope for in the Fish Bone Knotless Gear Tie. Setting out to hit a goal of $1,000, he has shattered that (with a few days left to go), earning more than $56,000 and counting for this contraption, which will effectively make tying knots easy as pie.

The Fish Bone itself is a piece of two-inch long aluminum that looks like its namesake. Simply use the cutouts to your advantage, and you’ve got a tidy way of tying that will keep your stuff in place during that big move. There are also bigger versions available for bigger donations, but the original item does plenty to solve problems for us guys who aren’t so good with the knots.
