Forget unicorn coffee. Diamond and gold ice cream is the new thing. You read that right. This new $100 plus ice cream from Snowflake Gelato has a dash of edible diamond on top of the raspberry macaron and 24-carat gold leaf.
But these two are not the only rare ingredients in this cold dessert. The handmade cone is dipped in criollo Madagascan dark chocolate. Does that ring a bell? No? That’s OK. That’s because this chocolate is rare.
The others are not rare per se, but the combination of these is unusual—mango, passion fruit, and ginger topping. I’ve never seen a ginger on an ice cream before (all though I did see a paracetamol-flavored one).
