“Take the path less traveled,” says the tagline of the TRX-4 Land Rover Defender Scale and Trail Crawler, and it has every right to dare you so.
First off, there are the waterproof electronics. It has been said that water and electricity don’t mix, but that is a saying the TRX-4 Scale and Trail Crawler dares to disprove.
The XL-5 HV speed control, high torque metal-gear 2075 servo, and mini receiver are all sealed tightly that not even a drop of water can get it. This gives you the freedom to choose more paths no RCs or other toy cars have ever gone before.
Then, there’s the Heavy Duty Steel Frame Rails. This 1.5mm thick steel frame is designed to withstand extreme chassis twisting articulation. Plus, with the rigid backbone, the suspension functions the way you expect it—eliminating chassis flex—so it can tackle even the roughest terrains.
Another outstanding feature of the TRX-4 Scale and Trail Crawler is the GTS Aluminum Shocks. These oil-filled shocks are intended for smooth damping and easy ride height adjustment.
Add to that the portal axle that lifts the truck at the wheels for massive ground clearance and gear reduction in these axles, and you’re guaranteed to overcome torque twists that can send you off track.
And to make sure you get going when the going gets tough, there’s the built-in two-speed transmission. This allows the TRX-4 Scale and Trail Crawler to adapt to whatever terrain you lead it to.
Lastly, this RC truck is powered by a 3R power system consisting of the 3S LiPo battery pack that has a run time of 2 hours and the 21T Titan motor that pushes the truck to conquer steep climbs and produce all-out speed on smooth roads.
Simply put, it is powerful.
