AOC, a monitor manufacturer, and Porsche Design, known to create products that present elegance and class in every aspect, designed two Full HD monitors PDS241 and PDS271. The former is 24 inches; the latter is 27.

What’s unique about these monitors? The single cable that functions both for power and HDMI connectivity.

This cable comes out of the back and is routed through the monitor stand. So, literally, you won’t see any dangling cable coming out—just the screen and the stand.

When asked about the philosophy behind the design, the two manufacturers attributed it to F.A Porsche’s principles. He believes that in creating something one has to think about the function first then the form will come next. Since a screen functions as a monitor, it should give the viewers a great visual experience. A dangling cable is not one of them.

Other specs include:

  • Class IPS Frameless Ultra Slim LED Monitor
  • 250 cd/m2 Brightness
  • 5ms Response Time
  • 50M:1 Dynamic Contrast Ratio
  • Low Blue Light
  • Flicker Free
  • ClearVision

Both monitors are temporarily out of stock. But you may pre-order now, and they will be released on July 24.
