Attention gamers, Samsung’s new ultra-widescreen curved monitor is the monitor you’ve always dreamed of. The SE790C is actually the first monitor to combine two trends we’ve been seeing in the computer display space recently: curved screens and ultra-wide screens. Those are not just the amazing features that set this monitor apart, though.

The SE790C is a beast. It sports a 34-inch, 3,440×1,440 LCD screen with a contrast ratio of 3,000:1 and 300 cd/m2 so it’s able to reproduce lifelike pictures with very deep blacks, vivid colors, and ultra-sharp detail. When you combine the picture quality with its gentle curve and 21:9 aspect ratio, the result is positively immersive with gaming sessions seemingly popping out as if in 3D.

Samsung has announced the SE790C, but it hasn’t set a release date just yet. Knowing Samsung though, you can probably expect a release date of Q2 2015.
