Now Sony is giving the first glimpses of the product that will serve as Mountain View’s champion with its STR-DN1060/HT-ST9 AV receivers and sound bars. The new products will be able to receive and play audio from Google Cast compatible mobile and web apps on your phone and computer. Apart from being Google Cast compatible, Sony’s new products are also compatible with Spotify Connect, Apple’s AirPlay, and regular ol’ Bluetooth.

The receivers are able to provide 165W of power across 7.2 channels, 4K video support, and WiFi in addition to the aforementioned functionality.
