The importance we place when it comes to recycling is actually what led us to discover the Re-Purposed File Knives. As their name suggests, these knives actually began their lives as metal working files. Transformed into kitchen knives, these carbon steel cutting tools have been forged, re-heated, treated, and ground to ensure that they’ll be the sharpest knives in the drawer. Literally.
Each knife is unique — what else would you expect from a recycled product — and the file patterns of the original tool are visible on the grip and carried through to the top of the blade. Each knife is unique and takes up to 10 weeks to complete. More below.
