It has been almost two years when Porsche revealed the Mission E concept car. Just recently its CEO, Oliver Blume, announced that its release may be at the end of 2019 and will cost around $80,000 if all goes well according to plans (although we sure do hope it will be much lower than that whether it goes well or not).
The German car maker says they are very close to the prototype and will soon be testing it.
Porsche Mission E is a fully electric car that, according to the concept from two years ago, will have 600 HP and 800 V, which will let it go from zero to sixty in less than four seconds. A single charge can last up to 300 miles and the rapid charging feature claims you can get 80% battery life in 15 minutes.
So if you’re planning to make that switch from gas to electric, don’t buy that Tesla just yet. Maybe you have to wait just a little bit more and you could be that badass dude driving a Porsche.
