Remember the time when we would download (RIP Limewire) as many songs as we can then burn it to a CD? Then we would get into the hip-hop-y attire, tuck the Walkman into our back pocket, put the headset on, and walk the streets like we owned it. Good times.
But, anyway, you can do the same thing today only in a more sophisticated (read-not embarrassing) manner.
Through Vinylify, a vinyl store based in Amsterdam, you can create your own vinyl album, using whatever songs you like. All you have to do is upload your files, choose your cover, then hit send and wait for your personalized LP to be delivered in 4-5 weeks.
The company uses cutting machines straight from the 80s to cut the vinyls. For the records, they use Technics 1210 MK2 turntable, a vinyl recorder, and a digital to analog sound converter to make sure you get the highest fidelity possible.
