Here at inStash we focus on writing about what’s new. About the future. So why are we writing about a game which is over 10 years old? Well, to start with, KOTOR 2 is new at least for Linux and OS X gamers. There’s also a whole lot of newness for gamers on any platform including 5K video resolution support and Steam Workshop mod support. Yep, that’s right. Users can now install a whole host of new mods without ever having to fiddle around with complicated installations or having to back up original game files.
For those of you who didn’t play KOTOR 2 when it came out, the story follows that of the Jedi Exile, an individual who has had his connection to the force severed, and his or her quest to regain connection to the force and save the galaxy. If you do end up buying the game, we recommend installing the Sith Lords Restored Content Mod which adds hours of new content which was left on the cutting room floor when the game was originally released.
