Whether you’re in a car, on a plane, or taking a train, it’s pretty difficult to actually fall asleep while traveling. There might be multiple causes for this ranging from noise to butt comfort, but usually the problem with sleeping while sitting up has to do with our necks. While you might think that those neck pillows will actually help you sleep, the fact of the matter is that they’re not very comfortable and don’t do a very good job of supporting your neck as you sleep. What you really need in order to sleep while traveling is your very own NodPod.
For those of you not in the know, NodPod is an ingenious Kickstarter-funded creation which accurately recreates how you sleep on a bed but in an upright position. In terms of design, NodPod looks like an oversized chinstrap which is hooked onto the seat behind you. While it doesn’t look very comfortable at first, looks can be deceiving.
