Motorola has its sights set on a big business and for once, it’s not Apple. No, Motorola is looking to woo business elites away from their Crackberrys with the new Droid Pro.
Featuring a physical portrait QWERTY keyboard and Android 2.2 (“Froyo”), the Droid Pro is the ultimate corporate rebel’s smartphone. The device runs Flash 10.1 on a 3.1-inch capacitive touchscreen with a 1GHz processor.
However, the big draw for businesses and IT departments will be the Droid Pro’s focus on security, contact and calendary syncing, and functionality in over 220 countries worldwide.
It may not be possible to pry a BlackBerry out of the hands of your typical corporate drone, but the new Droid Pro sure is going to try and it looks like it has the best chance out of anything else out there.
