To be honest, I didn’t think I needed Spotify before. But ever since my heart got broken, I can no longer live without Taylor Swift or Adele playing in my ears. Cheesy, I know. But who else has an entire album solely dedicated to a broken heart? I can’t go headbanging while crying in the shower.
But anyway, the challenge came when this fruit released a phone without a headphone jack, and I, not-so-cleverly, purchased one. So I can’t charge and listen to music via a wired headset at the same time. I can’t afford wireless ones. Please don’t judge me.
But then came along this device that began as a Kickstarter project, which solved my music problems. Mighty Spotify music player doesn’t depend on any smartphone at all. It also doesn’t need an internet connection.
See it in action here:
Just sync your playlist—or any music stored offline—with Mighty and it can play and shuffle your music anywhere you go for up to 5 hours. Mighty can store more than 1000 songs in its library, pairs with both wired and Bluetooth headsets, and features drop- and water-resistance.
It comes in three colors: lola black, shikaka white, and crush orange.
Is it just me? Or do these names sound like the Powerpuff Girls Teen Brat Edition.
