Microsoft isn’t one to let Apple take over a market without a fight. Hot on the heels of the launch of Apple Music, Cupertino’s hottest music service since iTunes, Microsoft has recently launched its own music service. Called Groove Music (doesn’t that sound much better than Zune Music?), Microsoft’s new music streaming platform has one of the largest song catalogs on the planet with over 40 million titles. That’s not all, if you become a subscriber you get access to literally terabytes of music totally ad-free.

Another great feature of Groove Music is that your music connection follows you. You can actually download songs to listen to when you’re not online with the Groove Music Pass. If you’re the type of person who has an Xbox One, Windows Phone, and a Windows 10 device then you should probably consider signing up for Groove Music by becoming a Windows Insider.
