We saw a number of smart phone announcements at this year’s CES but one of them stood above the rest: the Blu Studio Energy. What makes this 5-inch whopper of a smart phone different? It has an insanely large 5,000 mAh battery pack which makes the Droid Turbo’s 3,900mAh battery look like a joke.
The incredibly large battery on the Studio Energy means that you’ll be getting up to four days of “standard” use out of your phone. What’s more, the Studio Energy has so much battery to spare that it can actually charge up other devices like a laptop can.
In terms of specs, Blu’s new smartphone is equipped with a 1.3Ghz MediaTek processor, 1GB RAM, HSPA+ Data, 8GB of onboard storage, a 8MP back camera, 2MP front camera, and a 720p screen. Not bad at all for an entry level device which costs just $179 unlocked.
