The LazerBlade is an affordable entry-level laser cutter and engraver for the maker, artist, and hobbyist. It can both cut and engrave many materials, including wood, paper, leather, and acrylic, and it comes in both A4 and A3 sizes for as much versatility as possible. If you’re worried that it arrives in a kit, don’t be. All the tricky parts have been assembled ahead of time, so full-on assembly can be handled in about two hours, even for knuckleheads like me.
Now, just what kind of work does the LazerBlade produce? Well, it’s not a toy, so you can’t be a total buffoon when working it, but with a little practice, you might be able to render something like this:
You can pick yours up now over at Kickstarter for around $550 (the A4 model) or $600 (the A3).
