Listen up working professionals: Apple wants you to buy their latest iPad. Unlike previous iPads which have been designed in Cupertino, the new iPad Pro is being positioned as a legitimate content creation device, something which has been previously reserved for Apple’s MacBook, Mac Pro, and iMac lines of computers. This is a device for getting stuff done, making music, or editing spreadsheets and Apple is certain that it’ll end up crushing the competition.
The new iPad Pro features 10 hours of battery life, a gorgeous HD 12.9” display, and an ultra powerful A9x 64-bit. The iPad Pro is launching alongside the Apple Pencil, which Apple hopes will prove to be a more than adequate stylus for both writers and artists alike. There’s also a smart cover accessory which Apple certainly took the liberty of borrowing from Microsoft and its surface tablet.
Apple’s iPad Pro is available for preorder now. Shipping will begin in November.
