You probably recognize this item as we featured this before. But during that time, it was a Kickstarter project. Now, it is out on the market, and you may get yours from Amazon.
If you haven’t heard about it, here’s a quick rundown of what HELLO by Solaborate can do for you.
Basically, HELLO is a device that turns your TV into a video and audio communication device which you may use for video conferencing and the like.
It works with kype, Skype for Business, WebEx, Google Meet & Hangouts, Facebook Messenger, WeChat, Amazon Chime, Zoom, BlueJeans, GoToMeeting, Solaborate Messenger, etc.
In case you’re worried about whether all of you will fit on the screen, let me tell you that this communication device is equipped with a wide-angle lens with built-in camera tilting. This means that the view is always centered. Just place in on top of your TV or mount it on the wall, and you’re good to go.
Aside from the camera that can capture 4K videos, HELLO is also equipped with an array of microphones for clear communication. These microphones are also placed inside shielded microphone chambers for noise reduction and promotion of clear voice.
This feature also makes it easier for you to broadcast live events to your family and friends.
When not used for video conferences, HELLO may function as a hub so you can share your laptop or mobile screen to your team through the Wireless Screencasting and Screen sharing. It is compatible with AirPlay, Miracast, and other Wireless Display app. This feature is also a good way of streaming movies from your phone to your TV.
Another function HELLO has is monitoring. You may use its built-in motion detector and camera feed to find out what’s going on around your home and get notifications when there are unusual activities.
Lastly, this communication device works with Alexa. And we know what Alexa can do.
