If you’re under 30 then chances are that you don’t remember that French automobile giant Renault was once a racing brand. Gone from that world for over 20 years, Renault’s racing brand is making a comeback in a huge way with their new Alpine A110.

The new vehicle — which gets its name and silhouette from the legendary lightweight rally racer of the 60s and 70s — has a turbocharged four-cylinder engine that’s able to attain a 0-60 time of little over 4 seconds. This technical achievement means that it’s more than competitive with the likes of the Porsche 718 or the Alfa Romeo 4C.

We don’t know much about the other technical specifications of the Alpine A110 just yet. What we do know is that such a gorgeous car will be a pleasure to watch when it makes its debut later on this year. Stay tuned for more information!
