The FinalStraw is not the first reusable straw in the market; however, it’s the first collapsible straw. Hence, it’s more practical and convenient to carry as compared to other reusable straws.
The FinalStraw case has a measurement of 2.8” (H) x 1.3” (W) x 1.1” (Depth), so it’ll occupy less space. It can be attached to your keychain, so you can minimize the possibility of losing it and increase the chances to use it every time you drink.
The straw has a measurement of 9.1 inches long when in use and completely extended. It also has a locking mechanism so you’re guaranteed that it won’t accidentally fold down when you’re in the middle of using it.
It includes a mini-squeegee that’s also collapsible so it will fit inside the FinalStraw case. You can use this mini-squeegee to clean the straw after use. The straw is also dishwasher-safe, so you can throw it in along with your dishes if you’re too lazy to use the provided mini-squeegee. Apart from being dishwasher-free, it is also BPA free with patented design. It’s great for kids and all ages.
The FinalStraw is available in 4 colors: arctic melt blue, healthy coral, shark-butt grey, and suck-ulent green. The founders’ mission is to reduce plastic straw use by giving people a convenient, collapsible, and reusable alternative. In doing so, the minds behind this innovative straw hopes to make the public more aware of the devastating effects of plastic pollution and use that awareness to pressure restaurants to stop using straws.
If you’re interested, the FinalStraw is currently on its Kickstarter campaign. You can reserve a unit starting at $20.
