One of the most surprising trends in electronics and gadgetry over the last 5 years or so has been the explosion of consumer drones. Leading that quiet revolution is DJI, but you probably know that already, don’t you? Whether or not you’re a drone owner, you’ve probably heard of the Chinese company that’s been spearheading the proliferation of drones — and you’ve probably heard how much fun it is to fly one of their devices.
What you probably don’t realize, however, is that DJI has released VR Drone Goggles which actually let you experience flight firsthand. Depending on the mode chosen, it’ll either turn the camera or the entire drone based on your head movements, meaning that you’ll feel right in the action as you zip around incredible heights. Dual 1920×1080 screens provide the user with a jaw-dropping experience — something which is only reinforced by the incredibly low 110ms latency.
