In preparation for Oktoberfest, Halloween, and maybe Star Wars: The Last Jedi movie, Robinsons Brewery, located in Stockport, Greater Manchester, brewed this seasonal ale and named it the Dark Vader fittingly.

As a backgrounder, Robinsons Brewery is the same company that has TV-themed ales in its collection—Magnum I.P.A, Pint of Thrones, Robohop, Yippee I.P.A Motherhopper, and Mr. Scrooge.

Containing 4.0% ABV, this red Dark Vader ale gives you a spicy hop odor and a mix of toffee, biscuit malt, and citrus taste (but it errs more on the side of bitterness). Some describe it as having the not-too-sweet malt plus a dab of roasted, nutty flavor along with a dark bitter taste.

So if you’re all agog to know what the dark side feels like, this could be your ticket to it. And once you’re back, tell us all about your dark adventures.
