When it comes to futuristic approaches to living, the Japanese have us beat. Heck, even their toilets are more forward-thinking than ours! Did you know, for example, that Japanese toilets can wash you “down there” and some can even play music to drown out unflattering restroom noise or dry your bottom so you’re ready to go? Yep, it’s true!

While many of us have marveled at Japanese toilets for years, we may be able to join the toilet revolution soon enough. You see, a new project on Kickstarter is hoping to bring the best features found in the aforementioned toilets to the United States. Meet the Brondell Swash, an intelligent electric bidet toilet seat which boasts toilet seat heating, rear washing, and even drying. Heck, you can even adjust the temperature of the seat and of the water!

At the end of the day, the Brondell Swash is a more hygienic and environmentally friendly way of cleaning yourself when you’ve used the loo. If you decide to live their dream, you might even end up having the Swash pay for itself since toilet paper will have become a thing of the past. Find out more below.
