Didn’t think that the existing Vanquish could get any better? We didn’t either. Still, Aston Martin seems to have delivered on their promise of creating only the sickest automobiles available on the market with their new Vanquish S. Instead of re-designing the classic Vanquish, Aston Martin has made several subtle-yet-significant tweaks to up the performance of the GT. For example, the 6.0L V12 has a completely new, state-of-the-art intake system which boosts its output from 565 to 592 horsepower. Other additions include a new re-calibrated eight-speed transmission which delivers faster shifts and an overall better in-town experience, alongside an updated suspension which delivered more precise control in sport mode.
That’s not all that’s new when it comes to the Vanquish S, though. The aerodynamics of the vehicle have been improved thanks to a front splitter and rear diffuser crafted from exposed carbon fiber. The end result being a car that’s lightweight, powerful, and downright exhilarating to drive. More below.
