When we say truck, we think the one with all the torque, twist, and power needed to tow heavy objects and the I-don’t-care-if-its-scratched kind of exterior. But the Ford F-Series is changing all that. The newest lineup of super duty trucks marries power and luxury.
Case in point, the Ford F450. In terms of power, you get 6.7L Powerstroke diesel, 925 lb. of twist, and more than 32,000 lbs, of trailer-tow weight. It is so far one of the most powerful super duty trucks produced beaten only by Ram 3500HD by 5 lbs. of torque.
In terms of luxury, you get a massage seat that’s also heated and cooled. (How’s that after a long day of towing?) The panoramic sunroof, 360-degree camera, and adaptive cruise control are only some of the properties that catapult the Ford F450 to the lineup of luxury pickup trucks we’ve imagined before.
But of course, with great power comes a hefty price tag. The F450 starts at $87, 000 excluding taxes and fees.
