2011 Shelby Supercars presents the Ultimate Aero II, which is one sports car that lives up to its name. At just 2,600 pounds, it weighs 1,400 less than its main competition, the Bugatti Veyron. Up until this point, the Bugatti Veyron has been able to claim bragging rights on the world’s fastest street-legal car title. Looks like that will now be in jeopardy, as the Ultimate Aero II attempts to trump it with 275 mph capabilities and up to 1,350 horsepower.

Folks, we’ve written about some cars on this blog, but to date this inStash writer hasn’t seen another compare to the lightweigh aluminum framing, carbon fiber wheels (that weigh only 13 pounds), and bad-ass speed. Of course, if you want to make this a part of the family, you better have a million dollars laying around. The asking price for this spaceship is $970,000. But a guy can dream, can’t he?
