Volkswagen Arteon Delivers 276 Horsepower To The Pavement With Six Four-Cylinder Engines

volkswagen

Volkswagen has had a rough couple of years or so but it’s hoping that its newest four-doored flagship will convince you to come back to the brand. Dubbed the ‘Arteon’, this vehicle sits just above the Passat in Vdub’s lineup and can be considered a spiritual successor to the CC thanks to a similar wheelbase and swooping fastback-style roofline that provides plenty of space in the car’s interior.

Under the hood you’ll be delighted to find an array of six turbocharged four-cylinder engines varying in their output from 148 to 276 horsepower. Those engines are, by the way, then paired with a seven-speed DSG transmission and 4Motion all-wheel-drive is standard on the most premium models. Other optional, but drool-worthy, features include a heads-up display and a robust infotainment system with a 9.2-inch screen.
