The wait time has been high and the demand has been even higher, but it is all over. Verizon customers… the iPhone is finally within your reach!
The iPhone 4 is set to be available at Verizon and Apple stores starting Thursday, February 10 at 7 am and it looks like the fastest way to get your hands on one would be to reserve it online right now and head on down to your local store as early as possible to pick up your new gadget. You’re looking at $200 for 16 GB and $300 for 32 GB on a two-year contract.
Verizon’s version of the iPhone 4 features a subtle redesign of the antenna system, not because of the past controversy surrounding the original design, but rather because CDMA connections require a different configuration of antennas when compared with the GSM networks used by AT&T. It is also worth noting that Verizon’s version will not allow voice and data usage simultaneously, but that’s a small price to pay for a superior phone company.
