As someone who was recently reintroduced to the joys of vinyl, I’m sort of kicking myself that my “new” player was purchased from Kohl’s and not from the audiophiles behind the Orbit Turntable Limited Edition. This recent Kickstarter project had little problem reaching its $60,000 goal (as in $233,940 worth of “little problem”), and while the donation period is over, you still may be able to grab that beauty you see up there in the picture.
Trust me, there is something very satisfying about hearing the crackle of vinyl again, but something tells me it sounds a lot better on an Orbit. So dust off your old Burl Ives record, seek one of these babies out, and get your groove on, Daddy-O.
