Terrier Tank Dozer

By Aric Mitchell on June 8, 2013

It’s not often we get to report on things in the $1 million+ range, so you can imagine our excitement when we heard about the Terrier tank dozer developed for the British Army’s Royal Engineers. There are 60 of these mean machines altogether, all part of a 360 million pound ($548.57 milliion) contract.

Boasting a 7.62mm machine gun, an arsenal of smoke grenades, and a dozer arm capable of moving around the battlefield to create protection for troops and confusion for the enemy, this 30-ton monster also somehow manages to haul butt, climb steep 60-foot high hills, and lift around 11,023 pounds without even realizing it’s doing any work. Impressive.
