Smartype Keyboard

By Jason Bacchetta on September 11, 2012

With the traditional QWERTY keyboard, users are forced to split their focus between the keyboard and the screen. Smartype hopes to change that.

The Smartype Keyboard utilizes a slim display screen built into the top of the keyboard. Use it to show the text as you type it, or make use of the powerful keyboard apps (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, PC Meter) to help improve your productivity. The result is reduced typing errors, eye and neck strain, and increased typing speed.

Interesting, but not nearly as sexy as the Logitech Wireless Illuminated Keyboard we featured back in 2010.
