The ‘Scenario Fire’ is a wonderfully innovative centerpiece for nearly any room in the home. Designed and produced by MCZ of Europe, the Scenario Fire is a free-standing, art deco-reminiscent block of steel and a kind of all-in-one ‘containment’ unit for a real fireplace on the left and an insulated (from heat, obviously), integrated 37″ LCD on the right.
Under the TV rests a very discrete slot for a BluRay player, DVR or whatnot. And notice the steel plank running along the bottom of the unit; it’ll make an ideal spot for that multifunction remote that always seems to lose itself.
While it’s abundantly clear that the Scenario Fire will not be for everyone—i.e. those with an insatiable craving for nothing less than a 70″ TV, those with precious little space or with a room configuration that won’t support it—it’ll definitely warm the hearts of many a European, as Europe is the only place it’s currently for sale.
