What if instead of placing a photo album on your coffee table for guest to peruse, your coffee table could actually be the photo album? Intrigued? Read on.
A student from Northern Michigan University’s School of Art and Design seemingly had the same questions and came up with the perfect solution. He created and designed a usable coffee table that looks convincingly like a super-sized leather bound photo album.
The designer, Mitch Steinmetz, explains that “Instead of acting as a liaison between the user and their entertainment, Rememberance becomes the source of entertainment.” The table features flippable pages that can actually store photos, as well as a handy storage compartment hidden within. Here’s hoping that this concept will quickly become a reality.
