The Razer Ourboros Elite Ambidextrous Gaming Mouse seeks to rid some of the bias and lack of versatility for which many gaming controllers are guilty. Xbox 360, PS3, Nintendo Wii – all are fine systems, but for each of their qualities they are fairly rigid in the experience they offer, and the Razer Ourboros is here to pick up some of the slack. Quite a bit of it actually.
This gaming mouse extends and retracts, adjusting to a wide variety of hand sizes. Its 4G dual sensor system, at 8,200 DPI, ensures that game-play gets along without a hitch. Designed by ergonomists (with a healthy dose of input from the hardcore computer gaming community), the Razer Ourboros promises greater sophistication, all in a product that weighs a few ounces, is powered by a solo AA battery, and crosses over from PC to Mac with more simplicity than one would expect.
