Say what you will about Dubya’s time in office, one has to admit that his time as an ex-President has shown that he has a certain class to him. No matter what your thoughts are on the current state of politics, there’s something that has to be said for Bush’s Portraits of Courage: A Commander in Chief’s Tribute to America’s Warriors. Centered around a collection of oil paintings and stories by George W. Bush which honors the sacrifice and courage of America’s finest.
The book compiles over sixty-six full-color portraits in addition to a four-panel mural of veterans which have served in the armed forces since September 11th — most of which were sent to war as a result of Bush’s orders — and all of which Bush has come to know on a personal basis.
