Think your iPhone or Android phone’s camera is hot shit? Say hello to the Phantom V1610.
The Phantom is the go-to camera for insanely fast recording. Wielding a widescreen CMOS sensor and producing 1280 x 800 stills, the Phantom can shoot video at up to 1,000,0000 fps (frames per sec). Wait, what?! That’s right, but there’s a catch: at one million fps, that’s seriously pushing the envelope, so the resulting shots won’t be 1280 x 800. However, turn it down a notch to 16k fps (still hundreds of times faster than any camera phone is or will ever be) and it’ll record in 720p (1280 x 800) and all her glory.
And is it just us, or does the Phantom look perfectly suited to deep sea exploration? Either way, not many people will ever have one (including yours truly): $100,000, base price.
