Planning for an Antarctic camping excursion anytime soon? Just be sure to go prepared. You’ll need an extremely warm -40°F sleeping bag and a quality polar tent.
Lucky for you, Nemo (the equipment company, not the clown fish) has a new polar tent available next spring. The Nemo Isopod is a double-wall, 4 person tent that has special fabric called OSMO EX – described as a “space blanket that breathes.” The metalized fabric is designed to increase the interior temperature through reflective insulation. The fabric floor also absorbs heat from the sunlight that passes through the tent’s white nylon windows. In other words, the Isopod works to “squeeze out every drop of radiant warmth.”
Sounds nice and toasty. Send us a postcard… we’ll be on the beach.
