2013 Conquest Evade

2013 Conquest Evade

Conquest Vehicles, makers of the armored Knight XV, is back with an unarmored lookalike for the filthy rich who don’t get shot at often.

The 2013 Conquest Evade is based on a Ford F550 Super Duty Chassis and was built using an aluminum-mild steel blend, making it relatively light. In addition to many of the same features found on the Knight XV, the Evade also comes with joystick-controlled searchlights, FLIR night vision camera systems, laptop trays, a retractable flat screen television, a commercial-grade air suspension, and ergonomic 2+2 limousine-style seating.

You’ll be happy to know that the Evade is $50,000 less than the knight XV. But unfortunately that means you’ll still need over $500k to get your hands on one.

BMW M135i

BMW M135i

A few months ago BMW unveiled the M135i concept, and now they’re putting it into production.

The BMW M135i features a twin-scroll turbo, 3.0-litre straight-six engine that produces 320 hp and 332 torque, 18-inch light-alloy wheels, contoured side skirts, an M-Sport rear bumper, 50:50 weight distribution, adaptive headlights, a rear view camera, a lane-departure warning system, and BMW Assist. You get your choice between a six-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic transmission, but chances are you’ll want to opt for the automatic, considering that it’s faster (damn you technology!).

Count on 0-62mph in 4.9 seconds with a limited top speed of 155mph. And an optional all-wheel drive version will also be available later this year.

Lamborghini Urus

Lamborghini Urus

Need a vehicle that will fit the entire family inside, and still leave the average sports car in the dust? The Lamborghini Urus – an SUV to be unveiled at the Beijing Motor Show in a few days – is it.

While the official details are still under wraps, reports say the Urus will run on a 5.2-liter V10 with 584 horsepower. And it’s likely to share its platform with the next-generation Porsche Cayenne.

Even with the lack of information, you have to admit an SUV from Lamborghini is intriguing.

2013 Mercedes-Benz G-Class

2013 Mercedes-Benz G-Class

G-Class fanatics will be happy to hear that the exterior isn’t changing much for 2013, aside from LEDs underneath the headlights and new side mirrors.

They’ll be even happier to learn of the upgrades including radar-based cruise control, Blind Spot Assist, Parktronic, reworked ESP (to work with trailers), and an all new dash and console.

Yet, the power junkies won’t be satisfied with anything less than, well… more power. Which is why the G65 will come loaded with a 612-horsepower, 738-pound-foot twin-turbo V12 taken from the SL65 AMG.

Unfortunately for those of us in the U.S., the G65 won’t be available in the states… but surely the 544-hp, twin-turbo V8 G63 will suffice.

2013 HPE800 Twin Turbo Jeep

2013 HPE800 Twin Turbo Jeep

Christmas may be over for another year, but the winter is still to come, and if you want to ride it out in style, then you need to consider the 2013 HPE800 Twin Turbo Jeep. This $235,000 ride is limited to only 24 examples thus far, but if you’re lucky enough to nab one, get ready for an SUV that’s a far cry from the traditional Soccer Mom-mobile. With 805 brake horsepower and about 823 lb-ft of torque, this traditionally 6.4 liter engine (upgraded to 7.0) will leave a lot of sport cars in the dust.

It achieves 0-60 miles per hour in just 3.1 seconds and has a custom leather interior that will have you dashing through the snow in comfort. Will certainly go nicely parked in the garage next to that Jeep Wrangler Call of Duty Black Ops Edition.

2012 Maserati Kubang

2012 Maserati Kubang

Seems like everybody’s getting into SUV’s these days, even those super high-end auto makers you generally associate with sleek, fast cars you can’t fit your camping gear into and wouldn’t dare drive within a mile of mud.The latest into the SUV market: Maserati, with the 2012 Kubang. Make no mistake, although this is an SUV and will handily carry your hockey bag, it’s also a high performance vehicle. It’s packing a Ferrari V8 with 390 horsepower of pure thunder. It can go 0 to 60mph in a blistering 5.5 seconds, and tops out at 155mph

And it’s no slouch on the outside either. It’s designed by the same guy who dreamed up the Lotus Esprit, the Ferrari 250GT, and the Saab 9000. So naturally it’s got curves in all the right places, looking equal parts SUV and sports car, with a low and sporty driving position that ensures you won’t feel anything like a soccer mom.

2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8

2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8

The 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 is most definitely not your average soccer mom-and kid-totin’ SUV.  In addition to a meaner, brawnier exterior, the new Grand Cherokee SRT8 is packing serious heat under the hood.

The new Jeep will borrow its engine—a monstrous 6.4L V8 HEMI, worthy of a very healthy 465 horsepower—from one of its corporate siblings, the Chrysler 300C SRT8 sedan.  On the straightaway, the Jeep flies from 0 to 60 in about 4.8 seconds and comes to a standstill in a measly 116 ft. And it simply tears up the slalom, rounding the little orange cones at a very respectable .90-g.

Increased power and sportscar-like handling aren’t the only things the new Jeep has going for it, though. Standard fare includes Chrysler’s Selec-Track system (five presets for ride/drive quality, including one for ‘Sport’), Sirius radio, an MP3- and DVD-ready entertainment system, upgraded material trim inside; a one-piece, sportier front-end, 20″ chrome sport wheels, and dual chrome exhaust tips.

The quintessential question here is: Is it possible to have a super-sportscar-like SUV, like this one, that’s just as capable on the pavement as it is on jagged terrain? Yes.

2011 Jeep Wrangler Call of Duty: Black Ops Edition

2011 Jeep Wrangler Call of Duty: Black Ops Edition

2011 Jeep Wrangler Call of Duty: Black Ops Edition invites tireless video game collectors to empty out their bank accounts for the ultimate show of fan support. In all seriousness, you don’t have to even own the game or have even played a Call of Duty video game before to appreciate what this sleek black beauty brings to the table. If you’re in the market for a new ride, you could do a lot worse on features and cost than the solid black 2-door or Unlimited editions. These are priced in the $30,000-$34,000 range, and the game advertisements are subtle and effective. People in traffic probably won’t even realize that you’re driving around a five-figure advertisement for some bad-ass war game.

With silver alloy wheels and impressive road-hugging 32-inch tires, this is one video game trinket that could actually get you laid. At the very least it will get you from point A to point B thanks to the fine folks at Jeep and those enterprising bastards known as Activision. If you wish to kick ass at a fraction of the cost, however, you may wish to stick with the Xbox 360 game, which streeted on Nov. 9.

2012 Range Rover Evoque

2012 Range Rover Evoque

2012 Range Rover Evoque delivers the goods for those of you looking for a quality SUV that can get up and go without burning the gas. The 2.0 liter turbocharged Si4 engine boasts around 240 horsepower meaning that you have plenty of power at your feet when the rubber meets the road.

Spacious luxury abounds with a 17-speaker system inside the Evoque and a five-point touchscreen display that gives you a complete 360-degree view of the outside as you travel, so you can pretty much say goodbye to those pesky blindspots that too often cause accidents. Lane changes and merging traffic never again have to perplex you, though we’re pretty sure some of you can’t be helped. Prices for the 2012 Range Rover Evoque start at $45,000. These rides will hit the dealerships sometime next year.

It’s free, and we’ll keep you up-to-date with all of the cool stuff we find! Cars, clothes, video games, movies, gadgets, you name it!
