Cold Steel Leatherneck Knives

Cold Steel Leatherneck Knives

The vast majority of us are not knife guys. But if you’re that 1% who just have to go out and wrestle dinosaurs, rescue damsels from railroad tracks, and go camping, at least do the knife thing right.

Cold Steel Leatherneck Knives are 7” fixed blade utility knives made of German 4116 stainless steel which is, if the name is any indication, cold. They’re matte black, perhaps so they’re not giving you away with glints of reflected sunlight to those wary sentries you’re sneaking up on, and have sturdy, grippy handles with steel butt caps that are solid enough for hammering things when you’re in a jam.

Available are a standard pointed blade, which looks cool, and an angled Tanto blade, which looks even cooler. You really can’t go wrong with these in the cool department.…

Bash | Unbreakable Sledge Hammer

Bash | Unbreakable Sledge Hammer

Bash, an appropriate name for what the company claims is the most durable sledge hammer in the world, outperforming both wood and fiberglass handled hammers.

The Bash hammer has a steel core design, high-visibility green flat head that stands upright, textured handle for a secure grip, lanyard hole for securing the hammer around your wrist, safety plate that prevents the head from dislodging, and an anti-vibe, ergonomically designed neck.

Wilton is so confident in their sledge hammer being unbreakable, they’ll pay you $1,000 in cash if the handle breaks during normal use within two years after the date of purchase.…

Travelteq Pencil Holder

Travelteq Pencil Holder

If you draw and like to look stylish doing it, the Travelteq Pencil Holder is a must-have. Sure, it’s not as fancy as the Faber-Castell 250th Anniversary Box Set, but it’s great for those on-the-go projects that don’t require an entire tool chest.

These holders were made by hand in Italy using Florentine Vacchetta leather and are capable of holding up to 19 pencils. Travelteq also added a set of high quality colored pencils from Bryunzeel to get you started.

Of course you could always ditch the colored pencils and take this with you to knock out those final exams, but that’s probably overkill.…

Tagg | The Pet Tracker

Tagg | The Pet Tracker

The Tagg Pet Tracker does exactly what you think it would. Using Verizon’s wireless network, you will be able to locate your furry friend via GPS. It works by alerting the owner (you) by text and/or email if your pet leaves the safe area that you designated for it.

Useful because if you are a pet owner then you know how quickly they can get away from you. Plus, how cool would it be to actually be able to track something with GPS like spies do in the movies? Sure it’s not your nemesis, but a pet is basically the next best thing. The price includes a year of service with Verizon so it will be ready to go right out of the box.…

Tascam iM2 Stereo Recorder

Tascam iM2 Stereo Recorder

The iphone does a lot of things right. Email, games, web browsing, even taking pictures, all great. But the one thing it doesn’t do well is record audio. Audio recorded on an iphone sounds like AM radio from 1957, and unless that’s really what you’re into, it sucks.Enter the Tascam iM2. It plugs comfortably into the dock connector on the bottom of your iphone (or ipod touch), and carries high-end stereo condenser mics that make the built-in mic on your iphone lie down in the corner and weep like a low-fi baby.

But it’s not all about the mics. The built-in preamp on the iphone is a choke point for any mic you plug into it, seriously limiting the bandwidth of any sound you’re picking up. So the iM2 bypasses it completely, using instead its own preamp and analog-to-digital converter that ensure you can record a pin dropping with the same clarity as a nuclear blast.  It works with any sound recording app, including the built-in camera apps, and actually turns your ios device into a legitimate recording device for pro musicians and sound recordists.

Hand Grenade Oil Lamp

Hand Grenade Oil Lamp

From designer Piet Houtenbos comes the Hand Grenade Oil Lamp for all you weekend warriors, armchair assassins, and weapon nuts. While this thing won’t actually explode and kill a bunch of enemy soldiers, or your best friends, it will scare the holy crap out of them. Why? Because not only does it look the part of an actual grenade, it is one. At least the casing is. Inside, however, you can use scented oils that will burn prominently for 24 hours straight, reminding you that even in war, a good aroma isn’t gonna kill anyone.

Add some Armed Notebooks by Molla Space to your purchase, and you’ll officially have people nominating you for the Department of Homeland Security’s Terror Alert list.…
