McLaren P1

By Jason Bacchetta on October 1, 2012

The replacement of the McLaren F1 is near, and from everything we’re hearing, it won’t disappoint.

The McLaren P1 is being called a “design study,” but what you see here is supposedly going to be pretty close to what you can expect going on sale sometime within the next 12 months. We don’t have any official specs, other than McLaren’s official statement, promising to be ”the best driver’s car in the world on road and track.”

But we do, of course, have rumors… claiming the P1 will feature a 3.8-liter V8 producing 803 horsepower matched to a 160 horsepower KERS system.
