LG 55-Inch OLED TV

If you’re the tech enthusiast who refuses to settle for anything but the best, allow us to introduce you to your new TV.

The LG 55EM9600 is a 55-inch monster that uses white organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs). Without getting too technical, OLEDs have a much larger viewing angle than the LCDs and LEDs on the market today; eliminating the dimming and the loss of contrast and saturation that occurs when you move off-center. Couple that with LG’s “Color Refiner” filter technology, and you’ve got one of the best images out there.

The 55EM9600 also uses carbon fiber-reinforced plastics that strengthens, lightens and reduces the overall size of the TV. A total weight of 22 pounds, and only 4mm thick, to be exact. Yes, that would make it the thinnest TV in the world.
