A 1980′s TV commercial proclaimed that when the investment firm E.F. Hutton talk, people listen. When Lamborghini unveils a new model, people look, and the auto maker has given us an eyeful of the 2015 Huracan. It holds to the tradition of putting forth a luxury sports car with an interior one might expect on something built more for comfort.
But the Huracan doesn’t skimp on the speed. Its 5.2 liter V-10 produces an advertised top speed of 201 mph (not 200, friend: two oh one in case you’re racing) and a 0-62 time of 3.2 seconds. This time around, the Italian car maker has increased horsepower to 610.
From the rear, it looks like something that would ascend straight up and fly over the city before turning on the turbo thrusters and heading for the stratosphere. From a quarter-turn, side view, it looks more than a little angry, like the weapon the website calls it. There’s no price tag yet, and only time will tell how this model will fit into the long legacy of Lamborghini works of art.
