The much anticipated Acura NSX has finally been unveiled. First shown off as a concept car all the way back in 2007, we’ve finally seen the production model some 8 years later. The new NSX is a hybrid twin-turbo V6 engine which is paired to a 9-speed dual-clutch transmission. That’ll get you over 550 horsepower in case you were wondering.
The NSX also features different driving modes which it displays on a dial. On one end you’ll find as “Quiet”, which’ll cut the loud exhaust, and on the other end is “Track” which’ll likely do quite the opposite. Honda insists that everything about the car has been conceived to provide the most aerodynamic driving experience possible, for both speed and cooling. Buyers can start customizing their cars as early as this summer with deliveries scheduled for “later this year”. According to Honda, pricing will be around the “mid-$150,000 range”.
