Kanye West: My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy

By Aric Mitchell on November 16, 2010

Kanye West: My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy streets on Nov. 22, and it’s a much-needed break for the troubled hip-hop artist. Following the now famous Taylor Swift debacle, press has been mostly negative for the esteemed producer and top-notch beatmaker. My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy is a step away from the outbursts and the flamboyance that too often gets in the way of the man’s undeniable talent. Featuring 13 tracks, including “Dark Fantasy,” “All of the Lights,” and “Monster” (with help from Jay-Z, Rick Ross, Nicki Minaj, and Bon Iver), this album promises to be a reminder of why the public fell in love with West in the first place.

As for all the Swift stuff, that appears to be water under the bridge. This inStash writer, however, is one guy who isn’t going to hate on the guy for upsetting her highness. That little gal needs some adversity in her life. The incessant whining about how John Mayer didn’t want to have babies with her isn’t quite cutting it. To paraphrase a now legendary psychotic YouTube fan, “Leave Kanye alone!” (sniffle, sniffle, snort).
