Summer ain’t over yet so invite your friends over for a perfectly grilled salmon prepared at your backyard with the help of seconds cedar planks.
To use, soak the cedar for a couple of hours prior to grilling. Next, put it on top of the grill. Then, place the fish skin down on the plank. You may have to use more planks for bigger fish. If including vegetables, use the wraps.
The moisture from the cedar steam-cooks the fish then as it dries out and begins to char and smoke, it gives the fish a smokey flavor.
What’s great with seconds cedars is that they offer the same Grade A flavor without paying for the same price.
