Edox WRC Chronorally

Cars and watches just seem to go together. Precision engineering, sleek curves and insane prices could be used to describe either item. However, unlike the Alfa Romeo watch, which was inspired by the car, the Edox WRC Chronorally was actually made for rally drivers.

The Chronorally features stage timing with an accumulated stage time, countdown mode, recount/replay mode and chronograph. All these functions are activated via the buttons on the side of the watch and the oversized red push button means rally car drivers can time themselves with gloved hands.

A stainless steel case houses an Edox 36, an automatic winding mechanism based on a Soprod calibre base and the rubber straps feature rally treads all the way down. Oh, and if your car ends up underwater, you’re good up to 300 feet.
