Chronograph Modern | By Maurice De Mauriac

By Harry Marks on July 11, 2011

We just can’t get enough of sexy, slick wrist adornments can we? The Chronograph Modern line of watches by Maurice De Mauriac combines sophistication with sportiness, resulting in timepieces wearable for just about any occasion.

Leather straps, metal straps, sport straps – you name it, you can get it on a Chronograph Modern. Depending on the model, each watch will come with either a CH or Swiss Valjoux movement, stainless steel or titan case, open case back, screw crown, optional screw pushers and anti-reflex sapphire crystal.

A few Chronograph Modern XLs even pay homage to that Hollywood racing legend, Herbie the Lovebug, with the number “53″ in a circle and red, white and blue stripes down the side.

These are truly versatile watches, perfect for a business meeting or a night out with friends and, according to a recent report by the New York Times, good watches are coming back in style. Though, if you ask me, they never really went out.
