CAMUS Cognac XO Elegance

By Aric Mitchell on January 18, 2013

Great brands don’t happen overnight. No one knows this better than CAMUS Cognac, which has gone for five generations starting in 1863. This year marks the label’s 150th Anniversary, and what better way to help them celebrate than with a bottle of XO Elegance? Featuring a bright amber hue, this is a heavily fruity beverage – mostly apricot and citrus notes – that blend with honey, hazelnut, almond and chocolate for a powerful drinking experience.

In the finish, you’ll notice vanilla and oak highlights as well. Comes in an attractive boxed edition as seen in the photograph. It has won a Silver Quality Medal in the International Wine and Spirit Competition (2012) and two golds in the Beverage Tasting Institute Competition (2011) and the San Francisco World Spirit’s Competition (also 2011). Comes in attractive packaging as seen in the photo, so even if you’re not manly enough to drink it, it’ll make fine decor sitting on your countertop.
