And the hits keep right on a-comin’! The Archos GamePad, which debuted this month in Europe, will be making its way to the States in early 2013, and it will be arriving with a vengeance, if for no other reason than the fact that it draws from the GooglePlay library and uses the Android operating system for instant accessibility to literally thousands of games.
Not a bad library for first launch, eh? As for the look, it’s a 7-inch tablet – think Nook, Kindle Fire – with a .3 megapixel camera. It also gives the player the ability to configure controls easily with 16 physical buttons for easy translation from touch-based gaming. Also comes equipped with quad core graphics, 1080p HD, 8GB of internal storage, WiFi, and Mini-HDMI/USB 2.0 connectivity.
